Word to PDF

Turn a .docx into a shareable PDF without sending the document anywhere. Honest note: headings, bold and italic text, lists and images come through, but fancy layout - columns, text boxes, custom fonts - is simplified to a clean reading layout.

HOW IT WORKS
1

Drop the .docx

The file is unzipped and read by this tab. Old binary .doc files are not supported.

2

Text is laid out

Styled paragraphs, lists and images are set in a clean, readable PDF layout on your device.

3

Download the PDF

It saves straight back - shareable, printable, identical for everyone.

Questions

Will my formatting survive?+
Mostly. Headings keep their size and weight, bold and italic runs carry over, bullet and numbered lists keep their markers, and embedded images are placed in the flow. Tables keep their rows and columns as a simple grid, and custom fonts fall back to a standard one. If pixel-perfect fidelity matters, use Word’s own "Save as PDF". This tool exists for quick, private conversion of ordinary documents.
Do Hindi and other non-Latin scripts work?+
Yes. Paragraphs in scripts like Devanagari are shaped by your device’s own text engine (with a bundled Noto font as backup) and placed into the PDF as sharp images, so conjuncts and matras render correctly. An invisible text layer keeps those paragraphs searchable and copyable in the PDF too; English text stays real, selectable text.
Why no old .doc files?+
The pre-2007 .doc format is a binary format that no in-browser library reads reliably. Open it in Word or LibreOffice once, save as .docx, and it converts here in seconds.
Is my document private?+
Completely. The .docx is read by code in this tab and the PDF is written back to your device. Nothing is transmitted.
