Is EverywhereTrade really free?+
Yes - no daily caps, no account, no ads. Conversion happens on your device, so a free conversion costs us nothing. A Pro plan with batches, presets, and history is in the works - everything is free today.
Where do my files go when I convert?+
Nowhere. The file is read by your browser, converted by code running in the tab, and saved back to your device. We never receive it - the file's contents stay on your device.
How big a file can I convert?+
The hard cap is 2 GB per file. The practical limit is your device: conversion runs in its memory, so very large files can fail on phones with little free RAM. There is no server-side cap because nothing is uploaded.
Does it work offline?+
Mostly yes. The site opens offline after your first visit. Each converter downloads its engine once while you are online (the audio/video engine is about 30 MB). It then works offline while your browser keeps the downloaded engine; if your browser clears it to free storage, reconnect once and it downloads again.

Why is there no account on the free tier?+
Because there is nothing to tie it to. No upload means no storage to meter, no queue to manage, no usage to bill. Accounts start mattering when Pro adds syncable presets and batch history - and even those stay on your device.
What is EverywhereTrade Pro?+
A planned $4 a month (billed yearly) for people who convert a lot: batch queues, saved presets, and conversion history on the device. Pro is not on sale yet - everything is free today.
Is EverywhereTrade safe? Converter sites have a bad reputation.+
Fair. The category earned it: upload traps, watermarks, malware ads, "free for 3 files". EverywhereTrade works differently at a technical level - the file never leaves your browser tab, so the usual tricks are impossible here. There is no upload to trap, nothing to watermark behind, and the code that runs is inspectable in your dev tools.
