Questions
What photos work best?+
Simple subjects on plain backgrounds with strong contrast - faces fill too many colors to chart well at small sizes. Start around 80-120 stitches wide and 12-16 colors.
What does clean confetti do?+
It finds stitches with no same-color neighbour and recolors them to the surrounding color. Confetti stitches are tedious to stitch and barely visible in the finished piece.
Are the thread codes exact?+
The legend shows the closest common DMC color to each palette color by RGB distance - a good starting point, not a guarantee. Check the suggested skeins against your fabric in daylight before buying.
Can I change part of the chart by hand?+
Yes. Click a color in the legend to pick it up, then click or drag on the chart to repaint cells.
