HOW IT WORKS
1

Drop the svg image

Drag your SVG in or click to browse. It is decoded on your device, not uploaded.

2

Convert to PNG

The image is re-encoded as PNG in this tab, at full resolution.

3

Save it

The PNG downloads back to your device immediately.

Why convert here, not there

No upload, ever

Photos - including personal ones - convert on your device and nowhere else.

Local conversion

Choose your file, then click Convert. Processing starts locally after any required converter files have loaded.

No account, no daily cap

No per-day limits, no account, no watermarks on your images.

The two formats, briefly

SVGSVG describes vector artwork. This conversion renders it to pixels; it does not preserve editable vector paths.
PNGPNG stores raster pixels with lossless compression and supports transparency. A decoded PNG export is not a copy of all source metadata or animation.

When you need this

  • Export the decoded SVG image as PNG for an editor or upload form that accepts PNG. Transparency can be retained where the decoded image has it, but metadata and animation are not preserved.

Good to know

  • PNG encoding does not use a quality slider. It stores the browser-decoded raster, not every feature of the source file. Metadata, animation and higher-precision color handling may change.
  • The SVG is rendered to pixels, so editable paths are lost. Check small lettering and edges in the downloaded image.

SVG to PNG, answered

Why convert SVG to PNG?+
Export the decoded SVG image as PNG for an editor or upload form that accepts PNG. Transparency can be retained where the decoded image has it, but metadata and animation are not preserved.
Which quality should I pick?+
PNG encoding does not use a quality slider. It stores the browser-decoded raster, not every feature of the source file. Metadata, animation and higher-precision color handling may change.
Does converting SVG to PNG lose quality?+
PNG losslessly stores the decoded raster, not the entire source file. Metadata and animation are not kept, and decoding can change color handling or precision. SVG paths become pixels; TIFF contributes its first image.
Is there a file size limit?+
The hard cap is 2 GB per file. The practical limit is your device: conversion runs in its memory, so very large files can fail on phones with little free RAM. There is no server-side cap because nothing is uploaded.
Does my file get uploaded anywhere?+
No upload, full stop. Everything between dropping the file and downloading the png happens in your browser.
