HOW IT WORKS
1

Drop the png image

Add your PNG file - it is read by this tab only.

2

Build the PDF

The image is placed on a page and saved as a real PDF on your device.

3

Download

Your PDF saves locally, ready to send, print, or upload.

Why convert here, not there

No upload, ever

Scan, photo, certificate - it stays yours. The PDF is generated on this device.

Local conversion

No upload stage at all; the PDF exists seconds after you drop the png.

No account, no daily cap

No page caps, no watermarks, no "premium tier" gate.

The two formats, briefly

PNGPNG stores raster pixels with lossless compression and supports transparency. A decoded PNG export is not a copy of all source metadata or animation.
PDFPDF is a page-based document format. Converting a page to a picture does not keep editable text, links or document structure.

When you need this

  • Put a PNG image onto one PDF page for sharing or a portal that requires PDF. This path uses a JPEG image inside the PDF, not OCR or editable text. Check the destination size rules.

Good to know

  • The decoded image is embedded as JPEG at quality 0.92 on a single image-sized page. Transparent areas become white; metadata, animation and editable vector paths are not preserved.
  • Check the exported image at its actual size and compare its file size before submitting it. The original file is not modified.

PNG to PDF, answered

Why convert PNG to PDF?+
Put a PNG image onto one PDF page for sharing or a portal that requires PDF. This path uses a JPEG image inside the PDF, not OCR or editable text. Check the destination size rules.
Will the PDF keep full quality?+
The image is decoded, rasterized and encoded as JPEG at quality 0.92 before it is placed in the PDF. Dimensions are retained, but pixels can change; transparency and vector shapes are not preserved.
Does converting PNG to PDF lose quality?+
The decoded image is embedded as JPEG at quality 0.92 on a single image-sized page. Transparent areas become white; metadata, animation and editable vector paths are not preserved.
Is there a file size limit?+
The hard cap is 2 GB per file. The practical limit is your device: conversion runs in its memory, so very large files can fail on phones with little free RAM. There is no server-side cap because nothing is uploaded.
Does my file get uploaded anywhere?+
No. The file is read and converted by code running in this browser tab. Your file is never sent to a server - its contents stay in this tab.
