HOW IT WORKS
1

Pick your marketplace

A preset fills in typical fee numbers for Amazon.in, Flipkart, Meesho, eBay or Etsy. Every number stays editable.

2

Enter price and costs

Selling price, what the item costs you, and the shipping you actually pay. Fees, GST, payout and margin update as you type.

3

Check the break-even

The break-even price is the minimum selling price that covers item cost, shipping and all fees. Price below it and you lose money on every order.

Why every fee field is editable

Marketplace fees are not one number. Amazon.in referral fees vary by category and price slab. Check the current official rate for your product. Flipkart's rate card changes by category and price slab, and both revise rates regularly. A calculator with hard-coded rates lies to you six months later. So this one ships with dated example defaults and expects you to paste your category's real numbers from the official rate card - Amazon, Flipkart, or your marketplace's seller center.

What it will not do

  • Fetch live fee schedules. Rates change by category and over time - the defaults are dated examples and you should verify against the official rate card.
  • Include income tax, TCS/TDS, returns, ads or storage fees. Add their effect to your item cost for a closer picture.
  • Account for every fee line. Weight-handling, closing fees and collection fees are folded into the three editable fee fields - combine them as your rate card shows.
  • Tell you what to sell. It computes the money side of a listing you already have in mind.

Questions

Are the default rates the real current rates?+
Only where we could verify them. Meesho 0% commission (commission only - shipping and returns still cost) and Etsy 6.5% + US processing rates come from official pages, and Amazon 7% is the published example rate for one apparel category on its fee page - all checked 28 Oct 2026. Flipkart and eBay presets are deliberately blank: Flipkart\u2019s rate card is not public and eBay\u2019s official rate pages were not readable when we checked. Edit every field against your official rate card.
Is Meesho really 0% commission?+
Meesho advertises 0% commission across categories, which is why the preset shows zero referral. Zero commission is not zero cost: shipping, returns and RTO losses still come out of your payout - put those in the shipping field.
Why is GST added on fees?+
Indian marketplaces charge 18% GST on their fees (referral, closing, shipping fees). It applies to the fee amount, not your selling price. Turn it off for eBay and Etsy.
How is break-even price calculated?+
It solves for the selling price where payout exactly equals item cost plus shipping, given the percentage fees, fixed fee and GST rate you entered.
Does my pricing data leave my device?+
No. It is a calculator - everything runs in the tab and nothing is saved or sent.
