Questions
Why is my GIF so big?+
GIF stores every frame in up to 256 colors with 1987-era compression - a 5-second clip at 15 fps can easily hit 10 MB. Keep clips short, drop to 10 fps, or shrink the width. For anything longer, share the video instead.
Does the GIF keep the sound?+
No - GIF has never supported audio. Pull the sound out separately with the MP4 to MP3 converter if you need it.
Is there a watermark or limit?+
